Taiwan sent a letter to the WHO and they also informed their close friends here in the United States.

This is the Fox News rundown evening edition.

It's been a year since the US first recorded a domestic case of what was then called

the novel coronavirus or SARS coronavirus number two. We now call it COVID-19. We all know the virus first appeared in the city of Wuhan

in the People's Republic of China, but one of China's long-lasting enemies, a smaller nation

that China works so hard to make invisible to the rest of the world,

is who rang the alarm.

One of the very first ways the U.S. government was notified of a novel virus in mainland China

was by people from Taiwan. of a
