Authorities in France are struggling to figure out how a group of thieves entered the Louvre in

Paris during daylight visiting

hours and in the scope of seven minutes, were able to make off on motor scooters with the

absolutely irreplaceable Napoleonic crown jewels estimated to be worth in excess of a hundred million

dollars. Yes, it sounds like a big budget caper flick, the kind where you find yourself

rooting for the criminals and hoping they can outsmart the bumbling detectives. But this is the real world.
