The world's largest warship has now entered the waters of Latin America.

As the Trump administration puts pressure on South American nations

to stop the flow of illegal

drugs into the United States. They've been doing so by taking out boats that the military has said

contain drugs, although definitely offered up much evidence to prove that. This is a lot of firepower,

and it's joining about a dozen other warships that are already down in the Caribbean.

The target, as we've seen, there have been about 19 airstrikes against small boats that are

allegedly carrying drugs of some sort or another.

This is the Fox News Rundown, evening edition.

The pressure is growing on the nation of venezuela after the u.ss gerald r ford has now arrived at u.s southern command this massive aircraft carrier just the latest

in a large military buildup in the area and they've been quite. Some 19 boats have been destroyed by the U.S.

military, all accused of running drugs. It's really very significant, John, because now the U.S.

military has 24 percent of all U.S. Navy vessels. They are now deployed to U.S. Southern

Command. We're speaking today with Fox News Chief National Security correspondent, Jennifer Griffin.

That's in the Caribbean and in the waters near Venezuela, near Colombia, near Puerto Rico.

It really is a significant buildup.
