labor across multiple industries. Organized workers have walked off the job in search of

better working conditions. And in some cases, they're getting it. This time it's healthcare workers,

a lot of them. They not only want better conditions for themselves, but they say they're

willing to go to even greater lengths to secure better conditions for their patients.

Hundreds have been on the picket lines here, calling on Kaiser to tackle staffing shortages.

They say are endangering patient care and endangering the welfare of the workers themselves.

Thursday, marking day two of a three-day strike for some 75,000 workers at Kaiser

Permanente Health Care. So one of these people won.

We just want a fair bargaining from our bosses.

And once we accomplish that and we're not understaffed, we're going to do the best we can

as we have continued to do every day for our members.

This particular strike seems to be about much more than just money.

We're outside the Los Angeles Medical Center, which is one of the biggest hospitals in the Kaiser
