Summary

Hong Kong's leader, Carrie Lam, spoke Tuesday about a weekend raid on the Apple Daily newsroom that ended in multiple arrests of journalists saying it was not an attack on press freedom. Still, journalists are now leaving the city out of fear of being randomly arrested under the guise of a 'security law' put into place last year that outlaws any dissent against Beijing. Meanwhile, Apple Daily's assets have been frozen by China effectively causing the news outlet to be on the path to shutting down. FOX's Trey Yingst speaks with Dean Cheng, Senior Fellow at the Heritage Foundation, about the newsroom raid's impact on on press freedoms there and why he says it is another obvious move by China to control Hong Kong.
