Today is Yomhashoa or Holocaust Remembrance Day.

It's both a national holiday in Israel and a Jewish religious day worldwide.

It's been marked in many nations, but this is the first Jewish Religious in the Middle East. Relations between Arabs and Jews worldwide have grown in recent years.

The United Arab Emirates, the first nation to sign on to the new peace agreements with the state of Israel,

now has its own chief rabbi.

Well, actually, the title is about two and a half years old

and began before the Abraham Accords.

He is Rabbi Yehuda Sarna, Western born and raised, a graduate of Yeshiva University in New York,

and who is among many people, including the leaders of Arab nations, in remembering the

Holocaust.

He says it's a sign of how committed these nations

are to tolerance the Jewish community has been going steadily in the UAE
