A. The Book of Psalms has 150 poems or what we call Psalms. In the last 5 of these together

are called the Haleil Psalms, short for hallelujah Psalms.

Because all 5 of these begin and end with the same refrain, praise Yah.

That is, praise Yahweh or in Hebrew, hallelujah.

Now right in the middle of these last 5, Pallel Psalms is Psalm 148.

It's really tightly structured.

It begins and ends with hallelujah so it has this inclusio.

And then it's broken up into two parts focusing on the skies in the first half and the land

So Psalm 148 is really inviting the entire cosmos to praise God. It is a cosmic praise song,

So this is exactly what happens in Genesis 1 and the words that are used here are recalling
