You hope that this is your year to be that team.

Your hope is, why can't this be the year where we're the story of a team that comes out of nowhere?

So I get it.

It's a long shot.

I'm not telling you what's going to happen. Just like I didn't tell you

what's going to happen during the baseball season, but as long as it's there, as long as it's in front

of you, as long as if there's a route that you can think about and say, oh, gee, I can see that,

then why would you give up? There's a difference between giving up and rooting the loser, so you can go draft a quarterback versus they still have a shot.

But I don't think the jet fan is giving up.

I think the jet fan just watches with less intensity or expectation.

That's all it is.

they know I'm a diehard basketball fan. How do you watch a basketball season where your team is

tanking? And my answer is, I watch the Nets. I really want them to win, but when they lose,
