So I left a tad early, which was probably the right decision so my son could get some sleep.

So I wasn't here for this, but I got a major problem, and I'm very surprised by something that the Yankees didn't do last night.

So after they won the previous night's game against the Orioles, right before they played New York, New York, they played a quick sound of John Sterling's very famous.

Ball game over. Yankees win. The Yankees win.

And I think it was pretty unanimous by everybody that that's something that they should

continue to do. It would be perfect, like a new Yankee tradition, which is to hear John say

Yankees win into New York, New York. And for whatever reason, last night, they didn't do it.

And according to a Yankee spokesman, the Daily News, I think it was Gary Phillips had a whole report on, hey, what's going on?

And they said they didn't have plans to continue to do it.

Aaron Boone said they should do it.

Aaron Judge said they should do it.

And considering Yankee Stadium plays 150 sound effects in the middle of the game,

how can you not play the famous John Sterling Yankees win call when they win?

Are they contractually obligated to play the New York, New York?

No, they can play whatever they want.

I'm just saying, I don't know.

I'm just asking why they would not do that.

Well, they can do both.

That's the beauty.

Of course they can. You play Yankee Win, Yankee Win, into New York, New York. I think it would be such a great sound. And it's one of those rare things that everybody agrees with. Aaron Boone says it. Aaron Judge says it. I say it. Sean says it. Every Yankee fan out there is like, of course, this is a no-brainer. So what we politely ask the New York Yankees to do is listen to not just your players and manager, but your customers. Yes. Because we all want John Sterling to continue to be honored in the most sterling way possible. Because Aaron Boone revealed with Craig and Big Mac the other day that after every Yankee

win, he'll say it to his coaches.

Yankees win, Yankees win. Well, he's not alone. Yankee fans do that all the time. And Yankee haters do it all the time. They go, the Yankees lose. It's the famous David Ortiz thing. Yankees lose. Yankees lose. it's such a part of the tradition of the New York Yankees that we kindly ask the Yankees to just make that a thing. You did a great job with it Monday. For whatever reason, you didn't do it Tuesday. Let's start it tonight, assuming the Yankees win again. We're all in agreement, right? It's an easy solution. It takes two seconds to play.
