So as much as you want that franchise quarterback, eventually you have to start winning.

And the giants are proof.

They're like the modern proof that even when you're the coach who finds that quarterback,

because we heard for years, oh, just give Brian Dayball a quarterback.

And he's wonderful.

And it doesn't matter.

You want to know why?

Because they keep losing. Winning matters. Winning matters. Winning mattered last year. Winning matters for the Jets this year. Winning mattered for the Giants two years ago. Brian Abel kept racking up losses and half of you people, including you Sean, celebrated it. Was it a good thing? Do you wonder, do you wonder if some of that contributes to the

continuing losing to this day, that all those losses just kept piling up and they're losers?

And it's not easy to snap your finger and say, well, now we're going to win. And so it's not about

the quarterback, by the way. And say, and then it's an old, it's an old mantra that once you draft the quarterback, it's going to save the coach's job.

And did it?

It doesn't, and it hasn't in the recent history.

The NFL is different than it used to be.

It's different than your father when he was watching football.

It just doesn't, those narratives don't exist anymore.
