Last year, and I think it was in April, I think it was early in the season,

I decided to criticize Juan Soto as a member of the New York Yankees because he was attempting to bunt.

And I don't want Juan Soto bunting.

Now, are there circumstances where I'd be okay with the bunt, like down by three in the ninth inning, leading off an inning?

Sure.

Because at that point, a walk or a bunt hit is as good as a double. Doesn't make any

difference. But in most other situations, Juan Soto is such a good hitter and draw so many

walks that taking the cheap hit is, it's not worth it to me. In the first inning of yesterday's

game, and to me, I think this is the number one example of
