Basketball features many, many possessions.

And a lot of those possessions get forgotten about, right?

Because it's a long-ass game.

In fact, you'll hear the common belief, oh, just turn a basketball game on for the final two minutes.

And I hate that phrase.

It bothers me.

Because while, sure, you can watch the last two minutes and see the exciting conclusion,

there's a lot that goes in to a 48-minute game.

So I want to take you back to three little moments that help this Knicks come back.

And if this doesn't happen, we're talking 1-1.

We're not talking 2-0 Nix.

They're down by 20 with two minutes to go.

Deuce McBride and Josh Hart led an 8-0 run within about 45 seconds of each other to cut it to 12.

Deuce had a lay up.

Josh Hart hit a three, hit a bunch of threes in this game, and then McBride backed it up with a three of his own.

Instantly takes a 20-point game down to 12.

Fast forward to the fourth quarter. They're

back down by 16 with eight and a half minutes to go. Sixteen with eight and a half minutes to go.

And Mitchell Robinson had an offensive rebound and a putback. And then McKell Bridges made three

consecutive shots, a mid-range jumper, which he is very special at, a layup at the basket, and a corner

three.

And all of a sudden, a game that was at 16 has gone all the way down to eight.
