Maybe Alex Breggman doesn't want to play in the Bronx.

Well, we're about to play you something from seven years ago.

Back in 2018, Alex Breggman was doing an interview with a guy who I guess is technically our colleague now,

Rich Eisen, who's on the Infinity Sports Network, and they were doing an interview,

and Rich Eisen was showing him a book of famous Jewish sports athletes.

And Alex Bregman is Jewish, and he was signing the book.

And Alex told a very brief story about his father's dream for young Alex Bregman.

My dad has told me forever that I need to, that his dream is me playing in New York and signing a bagel deal.

And you know who wouldn't let that dream come true?

Because if the Yankees are making offers for Alex Bregman, it is entirely possible based on that little story from seven years ago that he would have said,
