I'm Stephen Means, and that is Stefan Krichnik.

Round one of the NFL draft is hitting its conclusion.

We started recording here around pick 25. We wanted to let Stefan watch the Bears make a pick before we got on here.

So at the time of our starting this recording, Ohio State has four first round draft picks.

Cornell Tate went forth to the Titans of Arise, fifth, to the Giants, Sunny style, seventh

to the commanders and Caleb Downs to the Cowboys.

It's pick 27 right now as we started recording, and we're still waiting to see if Kay to

Midgownell will join them.

So right now, they did get, they did kind of make a record, not really a record, but

it's the most picks that a team has had in the first 11 picks since Michigan State in

1967. They had four top eight picks. Ohio State has four top 11 picks. We're seeing if they're

going to make that five first round draft picks in total.

Right now they are tied with 2024 for the most first round draft picks of the Ryan Day era.

If Kate McDonald was number one at some point, we'll get to that near the end of this podcast here.

But we just want to start in chronological order.
