I'm Ryan Mink here with Garrett Downing.

And we're going to talk about what we've seen from Lamar Jackson at training camp

now that he's back from his illness.

And also what's been proven to us in the first week of padded practices.

So a lot to talk about here at Ravens training camp.

We're kind of in those dog days a little bit here, Garrett. They probably are, they'll get a little

doggyer. Yeah. Like next week will be really, it'll be barking. Yeah. But right now it's starting

to get hot. The pads have been on. They were on for, there's an off day in the middle, but they were on for four straight practices.

Yeah.

And, but Lamar Jackson being back on the field has kind of, even despite that, brought the spirits up and made practice really engaging.

Yeah, I think when Lamar's out there, you just feel a difference.

Like, there's no, there's no denying that.

He's a starting quarterback. He's, he's one of the most charismatic guys on the team that everybody seems to follow.

And when he's on the field, I think you feel a difference. For me, like, as I've seen him,

you know, it's funny, we did the podcast last week, and a lot of the conversation was

the absence and the impact of that and is it a concern or

whatever like that seems like that podcast was recorded like you know six months ago you know like

it's pretty amazing to me when lamar gets back on the field like how quickly you forget

everything else like you forget that he was out there he was not out there you forget that he was out there, that he was not out there.

You forget that he was sick.
