It's not very often that we do emergency podcast, but given the news that transpired in the last couple of hours,

I thought it would be a misnomer to miss out on discussing the new proposals

for the European Super League based on the judgments that have been passed down and ultimately

our major problems with them. My name is Jack Collins and I'll be your host today and I'm

delighted to say I'm joined by the rank of Mr Sam Thai how you doing mate I'm good

mate I'm good you put up the bat signal and look who answered yeah exactly I was like someone

needs to talk about serious bits in football what I wonder it sounds about no that's not how it went

he tried four other people first I'm sure of it no I actually don't enjoy talking about the

European Super League none of us do do. But, you know,

I checked my phone earlier and it was all hell was breaking loose just like last time. And as much as

we don't like it or don't like to talk about it and the serious business in football, because

it really does open the book, doesn't it, on like the really bad bits of the sport that we enjoy.

It makes us think about them and sometimes we're trying to hide from them. But every now and then, you just got eyes closed head first. Let's talk about it because it's rid its head again.

Yeah, absolutely. I mean, look, I think what's, what we can discuss here is a couple of segments. So we'll

talk about the ruling. There's been some sort of contrasting views on actually what it means,

and we can discuss those a little bit. And then we'll talk about

the new proposed format that's been released this morning and the issues that still revolve

around that and why it's not potentially as perfect as the two-minute video suggests it to me.

So we'll get into everything in turn, but let's start with the basic news on this.

And the news is that the rules that have blocked the potential European Super League by FIFA and UEFA
