We've reached the end of another tumultuous week in the Republic and coming up later on,

we'll hear all about it on the Perrier Awards, which is of course an homage to my broadcasting brilliance

and some other people's broadcasting as well.

As if by magic, Katie Perrier will be joining us as well to talk us through the latest

Brexit shenanigans and the big G20 summit currently going on in Buenos Aires in Argentina.

It's going to look like I was right all along on Europe, you know, when the referendum result

dropped two years ago, I predicted that it would never actually happen, this whole leaving

thing.

This morning we read in the Times that European

leaders are now prepared to offer Britain a three-month extension to Article 50 to prevent a

no-deal Brexit being triggered by a defeat for Theresa May in Parliament. On top of that, Norway is now

offering Britain the chance to join the European Free Trade Association, which they previously said

was not on the table. Is anyone convinced, as I am,

we'll be finding out just what the justification is for railfares going up yet again,

despite awful performance figures. The white electric cars are definitely going to be the way forward.

Plus, who has come up with the idiotic idea of giving overweight people free fitbits to prevent
