Hello, everybody and welcome back to the Football Vision podcast. I'm refreshed and ready to go

after getting to bed before 2 a.m. last night. But what's the saying? No rest for the wicked.

I'm absolutely feeling that one right now, which is why I'm delighted to welcome Stephen Gannavas back to

the podcast, so you can find on Twitter at Stephen Scouted, and like me, was an absolute sicko and

watched basically every group stage game, although he did it on expert difficulty being in

Australia, where many of the games were being played at stupid o'clock in the morning.

So I think it's only right that we give him a bit of credit for that. Steve, how's the sleep

schedule? Yeah, I was about to chime in that 2 a.m is rookie numbers,

mate. Try 8 a.m. 9 a.m. Actually, I don't worry. I gave you your moment. I had to stay up today

extra late because I needed to go get a haircut. So instead of going when I wake up,

because I wake up too late to actually go. So I went at 8.30 in the morning before the, just as I opened. Oh, man. We're both faded up and fresh, actually, which is good, even though no one's going to see it. It's always good to appear well, at least to each other. So basically what we're going to do today is just go through all of the knockout games, kind of surface level stuff. We're not going to give you Slovenia's pressing

system or how Georgia can defend in a deep block. It's just going to be a very basic overview of what

we saw in the group stages, key players, and kind of where we see the group stages, sorry, the knockout stage is going.

So without wasting too much time, let's jump straight into Switzerland against Italy.

This is going to be the first knockout game on Saturday, June the 29th at 6 o'clock my time,

but it will be the first one for everybody,

regardless of where you are.

Switzerland, an interesting team for me.
