In this game we saw something so rare and England performance that wasn't really hard to bear.

There was pace and shape and positive

play and only a little help from a dodgy P-K. There's a phrase that's rattling around our Scottish

Hello, Ryan Bailey. Congratulations, I suppose. Do you know when I started doing this podcast,

England hadn't made the final of a major tournament in 55 years. They've now made two in three years.

It's four in three years in total with the women's team. So if I quit, will the nightmare end,

Ryan? Because if so, see you later, boys. I'm not sure this is worth the pain. No, Graham, you cannot quit. This is why we're never stopping. Listener, just to let you in behind a curtain, as I started my intro there, Graham's head immediately hit his hands. Poor Graham. No, not poor Graham. Yay for Ryan. Don't believe you.

Yay for Ryan. Ryan, I am curious. So you had a chance to watch this game. I don't know if you were

watching around any family or anybody that you're visiting with. How did you experience this game?

What was it like? How did you feel lots of ebbs and flows? Talk us through it.

I felt strange. I felt calmer than I have in previous tournaments because I think the first four games have created a really little expectation for the kind of play I was expecting.

And I also felt after the start of this game, we can probably get into this a little bit later, Joe, but I felt pretty confident.

I didn't feel like the Netherlands, even when they went ahead, we're going to win. Does that make sense? Maybe that's a bit of a chart, what's the word? Yeah, no, I think that's fair. This is, and we'll get into this, obviously, but for periods of this match, this was the best England have played at this tournament. And that, that winner, Ryan, that has to be an all-time England moment, like a 90th minute winner to get into a final. I can't imagine there's too many things in your England's supporting lifetime that tops that? Is that number one? Like, that's got to be up there. It's definitely up there. With the Neil-Nill Scotland draw, the last year is, of course.

That was a real classic that stays etched in the memory, Graham.

But that one will be up there as well, yeah.

I think with time, that one will, that'll marinate very nicely indeed.
