england game was the five o'clock game and i've had like some time to kind of absorb what happened

and um yeah yeah i england penalty shootouts tournaments there's a lot of scar tissue there but

um i've had a few hours to kind of get over that and, you know, taking another game that I wasn't as emotionally invested in and, you know, it's kind of washed over me a little bit more now.

Yeah, we've all had a cool down period, haven't we? There was a lot to deal with in that game. I have to be honest, I'm not even like a super big

Eglom fan, but there were a few moments that were just making me violently ill. Not to mention

Bakayas Saka stepping up to take that penalty, which I'm sure we'll get to. I think I had to

watch that behind two pillows because just the thought of him not putting that ball in the back

of the net would have

would have crushed me.

But yeah, another semi-final for England, quite incredible, really, considering how they've

been playing for most of this tournament, but they have found a way.

And, you know, I'm not going to say this was a shock result, but Switzerland were definitely in

in good shape heading into this one. And a lot of people were even backing them to kind of cause
