Now, usually we're joined by Phil Costa for these, but we're changing it up a little bit tonight

because Phil, jammy bastard that he is, bagged a ticket for Germany, Portugal at the Allianz Arena in Munich,

and he couldn't get back to his home in Berlin in time to record this podcast.

So this is very much a free-form jazz podcast in which we say no to the experts.

And when you're saying no to the experts, the best person to invite on the podcast is Paul who you can find on Twitter at posnin in my pants paul how

but it was not anyway that was pretty good yeah i i figure the best thing with intros and

outros is not to think about them

because that that's that's when they become yeah that's when they become a little bit convoluted and a

little bit wordy so um it's best to do those off the dome piece i think

not that doesn't work for me but neither does thinking about it. So anyway, here we go.

Anyway, three, I think all three games today were really good fun for quite different

reasons.

And the great thing about pretty much all of them is they leave their respective groups

absolutely wide open.

I think the one we should really start with is Germany v Portugal, the kind of the middle game,

the sandwich game, or sorry, the meat in the sandwich of the day.

I don't know about you, but I mean, this might have been the best game of the tournament so far.
