Henry Osborn, the co-founder of the American Eugenics Society, once summed up "The Science," saying, “As science has enlightened government in the prevention and spread of disease, it must also enlighten government in the prevention of the spread and multiplication of worthless members of society.” Almost 100 years later, his and Margaret Sanger's vision is alive and well. Brad and Jesi Smith join the show again to discuss their encounters with and battle against this eugenic spirit in America. Their daughter has Trisomy 18 and they have had to fight hard to get her proper medical treatment. Brad and Jesi give numerous examples of eugenics at work in American medicine; from euphemisms like "slow code," and "fetal fatal anomaly," to 76% of NICU doctors who say it's ethically permissible to place a "do-not-resuscitate" order on a child's file that they deem "incompatible with life," without parental consent! 0:55.3	the early 1900s. And they have a daughter with significant needs who many doctors have refused
1:04.6	to care for because they believed her to be what the Germans called Laban's Inverten's Laban.
1:13.2	In other words, life, unworthy of life. And you see, you should never trust a pro-abortion
1:20.3	advocate who is a doctor to take care of your family because you are trusting someone with
1:26.5	your life and livelihood who has absorbed some level of a philosophy called body self-dualism
1:33.9	that the body and your humanness is not enough to ground your rights. It's something other than
1:39.4	being human, which means certain cognitive abilities, functions, and accidental properties
1:44.1	that the culture of death says become the litmus test for personhood. And it's only a matter of time
1:50.1	until that litmus test gets applied to other born people who also failed to meet that same litmus test
