good because we're going to talk about the roadmap for business taxation in the 21st century,

which was published today, 18th of May, by the European Commission.

With me in the studio, we have Isabel Verlinden, the corporate tax strategy leader for

PWC, Stefan de Baetz, former OECD, now senior council holding, I must say, a very close finger

on the international policy developments, and Jean-Philippe van West, an expert in European

tax law, who is also extremely closely monitoring all these ongoing developments.

And thanks for tuning in massively for this podcast I was intrigued by it

Peter because I saw be fit and I thought well be fit for people working from home

since the last 14 months is this now about the European Commission trying to get us into a sort of a fitness subscription,

but it stands for business in Europe framework for international taxation?

So it's definitely something that is going to trigger a lot of attention,

not only in international press, but definitely is going to impact the strategy

and the tax strategy of companies going forward.

So that's the reason for me chipping in, and I also saw Peter that a number of initiatives

are already planned to chip in the fourth quarter of this year, 21, others for 2022.
