Today's story almost reads like a who-done-it novel, with characters including

environmentalists, oil industry, farmers, politicians, and unbeknownst to us, us, the uninformed public.

With each party pushing their agendas and in the end, the victims, well, you probably

guessed it, us, the public.

For the most part, we're not even aware of what's going on.

Ethanol, ethanol affects every rider of every motorcycle.

Every vehicle, for that matter, every gas-powered vehicle.

The marine industry hates it, farmers love it, and if you think you can ignore it, well,

you're just fooling yourself.

Today, we're going to try and peel back the layers of the ethanol myth and mystery, expose the argument,

and look at the facts in an attempt to demystify ethanol, what it does to our motorcycles,

how we need to store it, and what it means to all of us, riders and

overlanders, because whether you're at home or traveling, ethanol can have catastrophic

effects.

And in the end, we hope you're going to understand what to do what not to do and
