Look with me in John the third chapter.

John 3 and 14.

We've been on the subject for some weeks now called,

anybody know what it's called?

Eternal life.

And I think we're nearing the conclusion of this, you never really

finished these, you just get to

an unhooking point, emphasize

something else, but

the scripture tells us that

eternal life has been purchased

and given to us by the Son of God, Jesus.

This is the greatest thing, one of the greatest things you will ever hear.

For all of its existence, humanity has sought a reprieve from mortality,

has sought escape from death.

And because of death being imminent,

there's the fear of death.

And to many people, death is irrecoverable loss.

People think dying is the absolute worst thing that could happen to anybody.

Why?

Because you're gone, gone for good, gone forever.

No coming back.
