It is greatly, greatly appreciated and hey, we start off the podcast this week with some sad and tragic

news which hit the rock world like a ton of bricks last Friday and that is the news the shocking

surprising news that Neil Pert drummer extraordinary from Rush has passed away at the age of 67 years old. This was an utter

utter shock to me and everyone in the music world as this was kept incredibly secret that Neil was battling an illness and of course even his death, which was actually three days prior to when it was made public,

was incredibly kept secret.

Not something easy to do at all in the world we're in today with

social media and what have you.

But Neil, you know, kind of makes sense because if anybody knew anything about Neil, you

knew that he was a very

private guy most of his life he was not a guy that engaged in meet and greets even

didn't do many interviews at all and that's the way he lived his life let me

tell you you you know, I have, I was, have been a lifelong Rush fan.
