time. When we first started this series, I challenged you to read the book of Esther repeatedly

during this series and to look for three things, to look for God

and his attributes, and we're seeing God's providence and his sovereignty. We're seeing that all

through this story. I encouraged you to look for the battle that is taking place between two

kingdoms, the kingdom of man and the kingdom of God. And I think you've seen how that battle is

personified and epitomized in

Haman and Mordecai. And the battle between them is really just a picture of a bigger cosmic

battle. And then I encourage you to look at the characters involved and to see the contrasts
