Previously on Thomas in the Bible, because Mordecai refused to show the proper respect to

Haman, he bribed the king to make a decree to kill all the Jews. Esther plans to get the

king to remove the decree, so she enters before him to invite him to a feast.

Her man plans to have Mordecai hung.

However, by happenstance, the king asks the man what he should give to a man he wanted to honor.

Ironically, he suggests things that protect Mordecai.

Esther exposes her man, and the king hangs him on the gallows he had planned to have

Mordecai hung on, such biblically sweet justice, with a Thomas yawn count of zero, as it was an

interesting reading.

He speaks the truth? I mean, it's still hard to believe I didn't yawn. I'm going to have to go back

and check the records on that. But it was an interesting reading. I have to say, it was
