Esther chapter 9. Now here's the thing. We're only going to take one chapter tonight and this for three reasons. The first of which is, I don't want to end the study through the book of Esther. This is such an amazing study and I want to I want to savor this book. There's only one

chapter left and if you know and I've already read the entirety of chapter 10, you know that

there are only three verses in chapter 10.

So next week will be the last chapter, and there's only three verses,

so it'll be the, we'll set a new world record for the shortest Bible study on a Thursday night.

No, actually, that's one of the second reasons. I'm really wanting to spend more time,

pardon me, on the typology that is in the book of Esther. And I kind of wanted to devote that

final study next week, Lord willing, when we complete the book and chapter 10 with a study

of the typology that is in the book of Esther and also kind of a recap as well. The third reason

is I'm still dealing with this cough and I'll do my best not to have it be a distraction. So we're

just going to take one chapter tonight. Why don't we pray and then we'll jump into the word.

Father in heaven, I thank you so much.

I thank you so much for our midweek Bible study here on a Thursday night and just what it allows us to be able to do to come to church together, to fellowship together, to get into your word together it's just a place of

sanctuary really for us because we can put aside all the busyness of our lives all the

busyness of the week and just focus our attention upon you and your word and that which you

have for us in your word. So Lord, would you bless our time together tonight? We pray in Jesus
