tonight. So if you're not there, you can turn there on Thursday nights for those of you who

might be visiting or back for a second time. We, on Thursday nights, go through the Bible, book by

book, and chapter by chapter and verse by verse. And we started in, I think it was about 2006 in the

book of Genesis and made our way through to

Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, Joshua, judges. I had those books memorized too.

First and second Chronicles, first and second Samuel, first and second Kings. And then Ezra,

then Nehemiah and Esther, we started last Thursday.

So we're just going to do one chapter tonight.

So go ahead and turn there and then hang tight for just a moment.

I want to mention a couple of things before we get started.

The first of which is that today is the 76th anniversary of

National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day and we certainly want to honor those who lost

their lives serving this nation and also those still living as well. Today is also a

very special day for me personally.

It is our 14th anniversary of moving here to Hawaii. We moved here on December 7th of 2003.

We boarded a plane. My two boys at the time were five and three, and we stepped out in

faith and came here to start this church that we affectionately call Calvary Chapel Caniohe,

14 years ago today. One of the best decisions I ever made in my entire life,

the first two years, I wasn't so sure, thought I had made the biggest mistake of my entire

life. It was pretty rough, but God. So 14 years ago, the church is 13 years old. We started a Bible study on Friday nights in the book of Revelation and we started at the Aloha pregnancy care and counseling center.

I always like to say that we birthed the church in a pregnancy center. It just kind of, you know, sounds pretty cool. So the rest, as they say, is history.

The second thing I wanted to mention is this historic and prophetic declaration of Jerusalem as Israel's capital by President Trump yesterday.
