So before the show, we got into a little bit how you've been bouncing around the country,

It sounds like within the family, how did you get into the end of life planning here?

Yeah, so I come from, again my my dad and his brother were in the

land space i grew up wanting to do completely the opposite of that just to remove myself from that

world that business gave me such a headache you're right back in yeah exactly it that business gave me

such a headache um i saw how it worked from a pretty young age,

and I just didn't really want to be involved in that I think I wanted to kind of set myself

apart. Nothing wrong with that business. I think maybe I just was like, hey, I kind of want to do

my own thing, getting to something else. Right after college, I got into financial services,

mainly on the protection side.

So doing a lot of life insurance, disability insurance, and managing a lot of 401Ks and 403Bs as well.

I used to work with nurses quite a bit.

I always say, you know, when you pass your licenses, when you first go out as an advisor,

it is very hard to find clients.

You know, you're fresh, you knew, you have no sales ability. And you also don't really understand the issues of these older people. You know, if you're doing retirement planning, you kind of have to resonate with someone going through retirement. When you're 23, 24, you have no idea what you're doing. So it's very hard to do. So what a lot of people do is they bounce around to different niches to try and learn a little bit extra in the business, put more tools in

the toolbox. So one of the first things, for example, is I pursued nurses and I would go and review
