I finally made it to Winnipeg.

And it's wonderful to see so many of you here.

And of course, the reason why you're here is,

although you may not call it that, but the reason why you're here is that

you're experiencing a kind of awakening,

awakening of consciousness, although you may not call it that,

and you are here because you recognize the possibility

that this awakening may deepen by being here.

And if your mind right now is puzzled and saying,

can you please define awakening of consciousness,

I'll say by the end of this evening,

you will know if you don't know already what it is,

you will understand to the degree to which it can be understood

what awakening of consciousness or spiritual awakening means.

But more importantly, the awakening of consciousness is not a heightened

conceptual understanding of what consciousness is, or even a heightened conceptual understanding of who you are, although it may be that also,

but primarily it is the ability in you to become aware

of a deeper dimension to who you are.

So ultimately it's a deepening of your sense of identity.

And I assume this is what our evening here is going to be about.

I'm saying I assume because I don't prepare anything beforehand,

so I never know what's going to come out of this mouth next.
