We are going to ask about Jack Caggne Leon making his major league debut tonight for the Kansas City Royals. Chelsea, I mean, your husband did play Major League Baseball.

Do you remember what that was like when he got the call up for the first time?

Oh, yeah.

It's such a special moment, especially for somebody like him who was not one of the super prospects,

because in the world of baseball, especially in minor league baseball,

there are these guys who are first round picks and they make like six

million dollars on their signing bonus. And these guys are kind of propelled through the minor leagues

because obviously these big league clubs have big investments in these type of guys. My husband was

a seventh round pick and he was somebody who doesn't throw, you know, 99 miles an hour. So he had to

really put up numbers that

could not be ignored in the minor leagues in order to get his call up. So I'm not saying that like

anybody deserves it more than anybody. It just felt like he was one of those guys that really

had to grind in the minor leagues to get his shot. And so when he did, I was very proud of him.

hand here because his performance thus far in the minors just could not be denied.

That's exactly right. You know, he had a great spring training and during that, we all began to speculate,

you know, would he make the team out of spring training? And the Royals absolutely were saying,

no, you know, we want him to go to the minor legs. We wanted to get some work down there. He starts in
