Here with ESPN, Zach Lowe, to talk about the possibility of seismic change in the NBA come to 2021, 2021, 2022 season.

A proposal that is being discussed between the Players Association and the NBA

that will change the way the league does business.

Let's take a run through the story we had on ESPN on Saturday,

you know, outlining the conversations going on between the league,

the Players Association, about, you know, seriously changing the landscape.

Seismic change, really.

I mean, it really is for how an NBA season looks, potentially for the 2021-22 season and essentially four elements, Zach, a 78 game regular season, a 30-team in-season tournament, play in- in games for the seventh and eighth seeds of both the

Eastern and Western Conference playoffs, and then the reseeding of the four conference

finalists, the NBA's final four.

Where do we start with this, Zach? Well, the one that I

had not heard about until you told me about it was the receding of the conference finals, which I would

assume is a reaction to what happened two seasons ago when the Rockets and the Warriors played in the

conference finals in 2018, and it went seven, and everybody knew these are by far the

best teams in the league, and the finals was a letdown, a 4-0 sweep, actually.

And so there's sort of an outcry stemming from that, I think, well, let's make sure the

finals is the finals.

That one I didn't know about, though.

That's an interesting one.

It seems like a compromise to me between, let's just pick the 16 best teams,
