ESPN's Courtney Cronin and Courtney we have to begin,

unfortunately, with where the NFL world is at

and what all of our minds are on

from what happened on Monday night football

with DeMar Hamlin as we all sit and wait for updates and listen to other players experiences and thoughts and feelings on this thing because it just really took us all completely off guard and it was such a shocking experience to see what happened with De Mar Hamlin and so we're all sitting here just hoping for the best with him but it's one of those things where when we plan to podcast of course we're plotting out pie charts and thinking about roasting the bears and

making fun of how bad they've been and all those things and we will get to that

we'll talk Vikings bears but it's it's just impossible not to have

DeMar Hamlin on our minds as we start the show here.

Wow, it's tough and, you know, I keep looking at my phone hoping that you see that tweet that everybody's

retweeting from whether it's his family or the Buffalo Bills or whether ESPN

breaks some news that hey he's off the ventilator he's okay like You're just waiting for good news and the fact that it hasn't come yet. We're almost at the 24 hour period is really tough.

That was such a harrowing moment to witness. Like we've covered a lot of

football games in our day. We've seen a lot of injuries, whether it's players with

catastrophic bone, you know, ligament injuries or guys who have been carded off fields.

I covered one a couple weeks ago when Bears Right Guard, Kevin Jenkins had a neck injury and

had to be, it was about, you know, an 8 to 10 minute thing where they had to get this very large

human being onto a stretcher and a backboard and then put on a stretcher and then carted off the field and you just you can never play with these sort of things like you never know how serious it is

until you don't get that thumbs up until you don't get the hay, just a little signals,

a little wiggling of fingers, like just something

to know that the players are okay.
