Welcome to the Go Birds pod, another edition of ESP's Draft Guides.

We've only got a few more positions coming up.

Draft is one week from today, and let's talk about a position that we've talked about

a lot over these last few days, really with the extension of Jalen Hertz.

But not a position we've talked about so much in the draft.

And ever since I was in Arizona for the league meetings, and Jeffrey Laurie spoke at those meetings about how much they value the quarterback position,

and really kind of took a victory lap on the selection of Jalen Hertz.

And in a lot of ways, rightfully so, right?

You look at how that played out.

He led them almost to a Super Bowl.

They were ripped for it.

They were proving correct.

So I can see why he would take that victory lap.

But one thing I thought about while he was talking about it was, would they do it again?

Like if their logic is, we're always going to over invest in the position.

You always, as a franchise, should be looking at the quarterback position.

You should always be prioritizing it.
