My name is B and I am a grateful alcoholic.

Aye!

Nice to see you and I want to thank the committee for inviting me.

I think it was over a year ago and so I had you firmly on my calendar and been dying to get here and to know what it's best like and look like, and now I know.

When I come to a new place, and this is a new place for me to be, I always do instant orphan and I know none of you would identify with that and so I was very

delighted when I walked into the lobby yesterday and met a lady called Babbs. very taking notes so that she can tell everybody in my home meeting her wonderful or how not wonderful I am.

But anyway, I'm delighted she's here and I'm also delighted that I had dinner last night with Clancy and we didn't fight. And also, thrilled to see Johnny and Karen, her real close people in my life.

And a few minutes ago I met a young fellow from Brea, his name is Chris, and he grew up there and he knows lots of people I know, so that makes me feel like I fit.

And the reason I say all that is because I never was anywhere where I

fitted in my whole life and also another group of people I met last night were a

group of wild women from Sacramento who I spent a night with there some time back and we had wonderful

fun and laughs and enjoyed ourselves and I was wondering how I'd ever meet them again and I met

them last night. So this is a marvelous place to be.
