Hi everybody, I'm running Shirley and I'm an alcoholic, and I'm going to get out of

the way right now.

It's an absolute pleasure and a privilege and an honor to be asked to do this.

I called me last week and asked me, would you like to speak at Jamboree?

And I said, but we don't have local speakers, and she says, well, the Spanish speaker isn't

turning up.

We can't afford to fly anybody else.

So my sponsor keeps my ego in check, just in case my head got big about being asked to

speak.

I wanted to thank the speakers who have spoken already, all of you.

You told my story, so I think I might as well just go home.

It's amazing the similarities and the amount of identification I get with every

everybody who speaks, be it at a convention or just in our local meetings.
