0:32.1	Thank you for inviting me Bob and all the rest of you I'm impressed with this group.
0:37.4	We started one in Tampa about two years ago.
0:40.9	They just didn't have enough speaker meetings and we tried to maintain this same kind of
0:45.3	energy level and Bob spoke there and it's something that was really needed and I can
0:50.8	tell from the turnout here that this is something that's really appreciated where you get
0:54.4	the something you just look forward to and you know it's going to be a great evening
1:01.2	and I can feel that here it's just a wonderful group.
1:05.8	My sobriety date is December 7th 1964 and I've had the same sponsor from the day I came
1:15.6	into AA until today so that's pretty good break when you both stay alive that long.
1:25.4	And I just you know I'm not close to Bill, he's up in Virginia and I moved down to Tampa
1:31.4	but we stay in touch and I have a lot of great memories, sponsors are so important.
1:37.8	They just are the great teachers and the great examples and so both being sponsored and then
1:44.5	sponsoring somebody is to me the most crucial element of alcoholics anonymous.
1:51.2	It's where the rubber meets the road when you're just one on one and you're just talking
1:57.4	from the heart and you're giving somebody hope or you're getting hope whichever direction
2:03.5	that happens to be flowing but my sponsor came to my house I was an outpatient from a nut
