say seattle loosely i did all my using in seattle but uh i i live in auburn now and i was

raised over here in the east side so uh they asked me, you know, where do we put where you're from?

And so I just put a blanket statement of Seattle.

But anyway, it's an honor to be here.

Tonight, I'm a little nervous at my home group in Los Angeles where I got sober. When you say you're

nervous, the audience goes, aw. Thank you. No, I'm a little bit nervous, but, you know, being up here in this deal, it's not about me.

You know, it's not about me at all.

And I'm going to do my best to take me out of the equation.

You know, I'm just up here telling my experience, strength, and hope, and, you know,

the program of Alcoholics Anonymous and how I found a loving God, you know, in these rooms.

And Pixie, I want to thank you so much for asking me to share. What an honor and a surprise,

but a great honor. Thank you. And then it's also neat to be able to be able to be in a meeting of

Alcoholics and Anonymous with my family. We're all drunks. My dad, who has 37 years of sobriety and his loving partner who has 37 years as well,

she has three months on my dad, or six months on my dad, and I'm pretty sure she doesn't let

them forget that.

So, you know, but it's really neat to be able to sit in a meeting with my dad, and, you know, every time that I speak, my dad is in the front row, you know, every single time.

And, you know, my dad is my best friend today.

And that is definitely a gift that Alcoholics Anonymous gave me.

I also have a little brother in here who has about a year and four months or five months sober,
