0:28.4	My name is Alas and I'm a grateful member of Alcoholics Anonymous.
0:32.2	I'm really grateful that you guys showed up.
0:35.7	I thought I'd be here maybe by myself and so I'm really glad that you guys are here.
0:41.2	So thus I want to start with some things.
0:45.4	I think that we say in passing, you know, thank you for the people who are leading the meeting.
0:51.3	Thank you for the people that do service.
0:53.8	I want to open by giving some real gratitude.
0:57.8	There were people when I got here, my sobriety date is May 21st, 1987 and they'd opened
1:03.4	the room and they'd made coffee and they'd set chairs up and they'd spread out literature.
1:09.0	And those little things created a sense of welcome and that sense of welcome helped me
1:16.2	find a sense of belonging and that sense of belonging helped me find God and God saved
1:21.6	my life.
1:23.6	So to everybody that showed up at the business meeting that we had for the Bronx Big
1:30.4	Book, it's always the last Sunday of the month now and stayed after the 9 o'clock and made
1:36.6	a service commitment.
