0:41.2	I actually had an overdose the day before St. Patrick's Day about seven years ago, and my wife had to do sternumubs on me to get me to breathe again.
0:51.0	And that's seven years ago tomorrow, and actually that's that's pretty hardcore for me just you know to this year is the first time it actually snuck up on me and
1:00.8	yeah so let's let's figure out how we got there and then what it's like now because my sobriety date is June 15th, 2020.
1:08.0	My last drink was June 14th, 2020 during the pandemic and you know so I'm really grateful and happy to be here and thanks for the offer so yeah a little bit about what it was like so my my name my name is Mike fourth with an IV, like literally a Roman numeral on my birth certificate, and for whatever reason I thought that meant something. I thought I was born on third base. My dad was mayor of my little town, you know, when he was 31 years old. And here I am like second grader in the newspaper with a Roman numo, you know, puff of my chest out, right around school.

1:44.0	I hope I can curse, so that's the right once a while.

1:48.0	Yeah, I'm not going to overdo it.
1:48.9	But like, so here I am.
1:50.4	So I get nothing to show for myself except that I think I'm worth something so I actually remember lying and I never really put two and two together but that's what it was I was literally I was an ego maniac with an inferiority complex from the moment I had my first memory.
