Two years, congratulations, 17 people introduced themselves as new, I think, 17 people.

I'd like to welcome you to a new way of life, alcoholic synonymous.

Here we have a way out on which we can absolutely agree.

I got to let the nerve settle a little bit, it wasn't nervous till I got up here.

So, if you were like me when you got here, I felt like you might have missed out on a higher calling in life

for that there had to be more than life than what I knew.

If you feel that way, I'm here to tell you, I believe that that started, at least for me, starting these rooms right here, alcoholic synonymous.

I'm convinced that I not gotten sober, I wouldn't be alive.

That's the way I drank.

I have a sobriety date, December the 28th, 2005.

And I didn't pick that date, my parole officer picked it for me.

I was chasing the rooms of alcoholic synonymous because the judge wouldn't leave me alone because the parole officer was really, really nosy.
