because when I got here I did not want to do much I just wanted to suck you guys dry

and straighten the family out and we'd all be good but that's not what happened so my

sobriety date is October 17th 1990 I have a have a home group in Linwood. It's so our primary

purpose we meet on Wednesday night at 7 o'clock and it's an hour and 15 minute meeting. I

have a sponsor and I sponsor and fortunately they sponsor too because they're sick of me

nagging.

That makes me a member of Alcoholics Anonymous.

I have a checking time.

My sponsor lives in Florida and I have a checking time at 5.30 Monday morning.

And I don't miss it.

And if I'm going to miss it, I text her and just tell her I'm going to be late because I need to be accountable to somebody

because when I got here I wasn't accountable to anybody I wasn't accountable to the man

I'd been living with married my children my parents or myself you know I'm living

proof that you don't have to come from a disease of alcoholism as a child to be an alcoholic.
