Greetings from Las Vegas, I am La Shanda and I am an alcoholic, high family and I was

suddenly I forgot how to breathe, okay no pressure, no judgment just friends and family here.

Today I have one day, ten months and two years of sobriety.

But the one day is most important because that one day determines whether or not to get

months and those months didn't become years and I am so thankful that I get to spend

that one day with you all at the thirty third river roundup, how awesome is that!

So when I got the call asking if I would be a speaker I was absolutely elated and I

said yes without hesitation.

And it was almost like I had won the Grammys, not that I've ever been nominated for a Grammy

but I understood the feeling.

As such I have a few people that I would like to thank, Jess Kitty, I make corny jokes and

I'm nervous but I do want to thank everyone who participated in their own recovery by

attending this roundup, all of those who put their energy and their time and their talents

and treasures into pulling this auspaces event off for us, the staff here, the people who

traveled from all around the country, I think we even have people here from Canada, my friends

and family that came to support me from Vegas, thank you all so much.

So I couldn't decide if I was nervous because the meeting is so large or if because my children
