Good evening, my name's Kip, I'm an alcoholic and I ain't had a drink all day long.

I didn't hurt nobody today, I didn't hurt myself, I worked all week and paid my way.

My wife is with me tonight and we're in love with each other, I haven't had to say I'm

sorry, almost a week.

When I pull into my house, my kids come running out of the house, you know, and they say

daddy's home.

When I pull into my yard, all the neighbors, they wave at me.

That might not mean much to a lot of you, but I'll tell you what, I should ask tickle

my mother.

I am so impressed and I'm so honored to be here tonight.

I knew about Mar for quite a while, I've been coming to Atlanta with different aspects

of alcoholics and non-ums for quite a few years and I've met many, many people who've

graduated from Mar and that were in Mar and I've always been impressed by the quality

of their sobriety and the way they carried themselves, I think there was something special

going on here.

I had the honor of getting you know art over the last few years and I just want to tell

you what a blessing that has been and he is a member of our family.
