hi everybody my god the enthusiasm here is wonderful it is just wonderful I like to see people who enjoy being sober.

My sobriety date, because I understand that's how y'all do it, my sobriety date is December the 18th,

1972.

And you're right i was uh five years old when i came to alcoholics anonymous i was very young when i came to alcoholics anonymous i was very young when i came to alcoholics

anonymous i was 23 years old when i came to AA, and so I've had 30 years of sobriety and 30 years of a good life

and 30 years of a sober life, and I am grateful for every day of it, although a lot of those days I didn't act like I was grateful for it.

Because I was one of those alcoholics who didn't come through the doors of alcoholics,

anonymous and immediately fell in love with AA and with sobriety and with the whole deal here.

But I'm fortunate.

I'm fortunate that I got here when I did

I want to thank the committee for getting me here

I want to thank my friend and

sponsory of how many years

a long time
