And you know, if I went back to the old detox and told the guys how he's doing, I mean,

this was nowhere on the radar 25 and a half years ago that I'd get on a plane and be treated

the way you've treated me. And I'd like to thank my dear friend from elementary school, Maria,

and her husband. They came up here from Maria and Matt. They came up here from Vancouver,

Washington to kind of hang out with me today. We've been friends since first grade. And so I'm

honored. I mean, this is a supreme honor for me. And in the big book of alcoholics anonymous

doctor, so forth, was mentioning that Bill had these ideas. And then Bill asked if he could have

the privilege of talking to some of the other patients. So I believe that this is a privilege as

well as an honor. And it's a responsibility. And I don't take it lightly. But I have my fun socks on,

these are real fun socks, that's what they said, bottom. And so I'm just delighted to be here.

Mark picked me up from the airport and we picked up Maria and Matt and we went around and drove

around this magnificent day and this magnificent place where you guys all live. And it's really just

been, and we had dinner with some wonderful people, some members of this group. And it's just been

a surreal experience. I mean, things like this don't happen to people like where I came from
