There's quite a lot of people to be speaking to without having a drink first.

Wow.

In the old days, I really could not do that.

I used to be a performing artist, a musician.

I was in this business called jazz music.

I was a trumpet player.

I could not perform solo.

If I tried to, I was shaking, trembling,

getting into a depression, and I just could not do that. If I was being asked to speak to any number

of people, being it a group of students in school, I'm teaching in the music academy, I could not do it so. I was just feeling awful.

And I think to this program, I can say whenever I'm being invited to any opportunity

to speak, I can say yes, and I really mean it because I'm always looking forward to.

And of course I'm nervous, but nowadays I allow myself to be nervous.

It's okay.

It's normal.

It's just human.

This is really beautiful.
