Now, I would like to take a moment or two before I start talking, and welcome you people

drinking, I would like to tell you that putting drinking is like making love to a gorilla,

and you are not through until a gorilla is through. But I'm sure that if you keep coming back,

will be far greater than they would if you try to do it any other way. Now, I don't talk

too much about what the drinking was like. And I've got three pretty good reasons for

not. The first one is that I never developed a fascination for the LAPD version of the

way I drank. I never got overly fond of my first wife's version of the way I drank.

And I don't remember how I drank. And if you drank like me, the chances are you wouldn't

remember much of it either. But I understand that this is not necessary to remember how

I drank. It's only necessary to remember what happened in that last drunk as best I can.

Now, I'm not saying this specifically. I recently retired. And they sent me a record of my work.
